CalmPath helps parents and carers keep gentle daily notes about a child: routines, moods, sleep, food, toileting, vitamins and medication, difficult moments, school notes, wins, appointments and occasional measurements, and turn them into summaries they can share with school or health professionals. You decide what to record and who sees it.
Account data: your email address and the name you give us.
Child information you choose to record: the child's name or nickname, age range, communication style, sensory preferences, what helps them, and the daily notes listed above. Some of this is health information, which UK GDPR treats as special category data. We only process it because you deliberately record it to support your child.
We do not collect: location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers or analytics profiles.
Only to run the app: showing you your own notes, generating your summaries and reports, and sharing with the specific people you invite at the access level you choose. We do not sell data, show ads, or use your data to train AI models.
Only you and people you explicitly invite (co-parent, family carer, teacher, or read-only), each limited by role. Teachers can never see difficult-moment logs. You can revoke anyone's access at any time.
Data is stored with Supabase (our database provider) in the European Union, encrypted in transit and at rest. Build and update infrastructure is provided by Expo (EAS). Both act as processors under data processing agreements.
For as long as your account exists. Deleting an entry removes it. Deleting your account permanently removes your account, every child profile you own and all associated records. Backups expire on a rolling basis within 30 days.
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Most of these you can exercise directly in the app: edit or delete entries, export reports or the full evidence pack, or use Profile → Data and privacy → Delete account. For anything else, contact us at the address above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
CalmPath is used by adults (parents and carers). Children are the subject of some records, not users, and we apply the ICO Children's Code standards of data minimisation and high privacy by default to their information.
If this policy changes materially, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
